Pricing
AI video credits, per clip
expidvid charges per render, not per month. You only spend credits when a video finishes successfully. Pick a faster draft resolution to test ideas cheaply, then render in HD for the final clip.
Cost per video
Prices are shown in credits. The studio previews the exact cost before you generate.
| Length | Fast 360p | HD 720p |
|---|---|---|
| 5 seconds | 0.000029 credits | 0.000087 credits |
| 8 seconds | 0.000046 credits | 0.00014 credits |
| 10 seconds | 0.000058 credits | 0.000175 credits |
HD 720p uses roughly 3× the credits of Fast 360p for the same length because it renders more pixels per frame.
How credits work
- Free daily credits — every workspace gets daily credits, so you can try the AI video generator before upgrading.
- Pay per render — credits are only deducted when a clip completes. Queued and failed renders cost nothing.
- Real-time estimate — the studio shows the expected credit cost next to the Generate button before you confirm.
- Same rate for photos — image-to-video and text-to-video use the same per-second pricing.
Frequently asked questions
How many credits does one AI video cost?
It depends on length and resolution. A 5-second Fast 360p clip costs about 0.000029 credits, while a 10-second HD 720p clip costs about 0.000175 credits. You see the exact cost before you press Generate.
Do I need a paid plan to generate videos?
No. Free-plan workspaces receive daily credits, so you can try the AI video generator at no cost. When you run low, you can upgrade or wait for the next daily refresh.
What is the difference between Fast 360p and HD 720p?
Fast 360p renders quickly and costs roughly one-third the credits of HD 720p. Use 360p for drafts and testing ideas; switch to 720p for final clips you plan to publish.
Does image-to-video cost more than text-to-video?
No. Photo uploads use the same per-second credit rate as text prompts. The scan that suggests a motion prompt is also included.
Are credits refunded if a render fails?
Failed renders do not consume credits. You only pay for clips that complete successfully and appear in your studio.
