How to combine clips and photos into one video
By Expidvid AI · Founder & Creator
Most short videos are a handful of clips, a few photos, a caption and a song. You don't need an editing app for that — you can stitch it together in your browser in a couple of minutes.
The steps
- Open the Expivid video maker and add your clips and photos
- Put them in order — photos show for 3 seconds each
- Add a short caption to any part (up to 80 characters)
- Pick a look: Original, Film grain, Monochrome, Warm glow or Dreamy
- Add background music if you want — it loops under the whole video
- Build the video and download one MP4
Why it runs on your device
The joining happens inside your browser, so your footage is never sent to a server. That keeps private clips private and means there is no upload wait. Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to save the finished video to your account.
Tips for a clean result
- Shoot or export every clip in the same orientation — vertical for TikTok and Reels
- Keep captions short so they read in the time each part is on screen
- Use one effect for the whole video so it feels consistent
- Mix AI-generated clips with your own footage for b-roll and transitions

Once saved, you can opt in to show your video in the public community directory with a title and category. Saved videos stay private unless you tick that box.
